HJC helmet before modification
Modular 2 helmet with Quiet Ride Ear Muffs installed.
 
Picture shows the standard cheek padding and chin strap with padding
Cheek pad and liner removed and small amount of Styrofoam insulation removed for proper location of ear muff to fit over ear. Air bladder installed with air line laid in groove and taped in place.

Air bladder installed on right side with air line installed in groove to "T" which connects Air line to mini pump through bottom padding. Cut hole in padding for air lines to pass thru..

After helmet liner is reinstalled part of the liner is cut away and liner is cut in area above ear muff location so liner does not restrict muff placement.

Ear muff installed - notice padding on chin strap has been removed. Cheek pad will be reinstalled over chin strap.

Styrofoam cut off cheek pad and covering modified to fit over chin pad. Ready to snap on to helmet around front side of ear muff on left side of helmet.

Right side cheek pad modified to fit around ear muff with covering cut to fit snug around cheek pad. Fabric is glued to fabric to fit propertly around modified cheek pad.

Right side helmet speaker installed in Quiet Ride Ear Muff with wire attached to air line.
